Continuing
Education Fellowship
In partnership with CAJE-Miami (Center for Advancement of Jewish Education), the Continuing Education Fellowship is intended to assist educators in Miami area Jewish Day Schools to pursue a formal part-time course of study that will enrich and expand their capacity to teach and inspire students in their given field.
The fellowship will be awarded to a maximum of 10 teachers per school per academic year, as selected by the school’s Head of School. Fellows will receive a grant equaling 80% of tuition and fees up to a total of $6,500 per academic year, for any degree or certificate granting course of study they pursue at an accredited university, institution of higher learning, or reputable professional development organization, subject to the approval of their Head of School.
The fellowship is open to teachers of all subject areas and across all grades, ECE-12, who have been employed by the school for at least two years.
The Continuing Education Fellowship is being pilot tested for the 2022-2023 school year at Scheck Hillel Community School.
Vision
The Gisela & Daniel Ades Foundation hope to extend the Continuing Education Fellowship to all Miami Jewish Federation funded Day Schools in the coming years.
