The Ades Scholars Fellowship

The Ades Scholars Fellowship supports Jewish Day School educators in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties in pursuing advanced degrees to deepen their expertise and community impact. We invest in teachers’ growth because, when teachers thrive, so do their students. By honoring educators’ commitment to lifelong learning and providing targeted financial support, the fellowship helps them achieve their professional aspirations.

The Ades Scholars Fellowship is a unique opportunity for Jewish Day School teachers in Miami, Broward or Palm Beach Counties to pursue advanced degrees with significant financial and professional support. We will be accepting 15 fellows in the 2026-2027 cohort.

Program at a Glance:

  • Fellows will receive a grant equaling 80% of tuition and fees up to a total of $8,000 per academic year for up to 2 years (renewable), for any degree or certificate granting course of study they pursue at an accredited university, institution of higher learning, or reputable professional development organization.

  • The Ades Scholars Fellowship is open to educators in any discipline, Pre-K–12, with at least 1 year of experience in a Jewish Day School in Miami, Broward or Palm Beach counties.

  • Fellows must commit to teaching in a Jewish Day School for 2 years following program completion.

  • The fellowship Includes 3 in-person workshops during the academic year.
